Crossing Dreams RPG
Here's a link to the game:

This is the testable Demo version. As of right now, you're only able to enter Rufturf (the town you start out in), The Mines down south of town, the Plantation to the South-West, and the Eastern Forrest (Shihana Village can be accessed in the thrid forrest area). Although it may not seem like alot, there's plenty of things to do in these areas. Packed with deep secrets, witty dialog, and out-of-game references, it should keep you entertained enough until I can release a more interesting version.
You'll need to Download the RTP (Run-Time Package) from the RPG Maker VX website at: http://tkool.jp/products/rpgvx/eng/download.html in order to play the game.
Post any found issues with the game, and remember it's a demo, and there will be better functionality in later releases. Don't forget to spread the word about the game and the site to your friends (I know some of you don't have any, but that's okay, you can tell people you don't like. ;D )
Enjoy.
Opening Music "Fighting" by Yellowcard,
Battle Theme "Stronger" by Trust Company,

Re: Crossing Dreams RPG
Yeah i beat the demo of it it was really funny reminded me of the older styled final fantasy's/ies.
Speaking of styling i really like how its going little bit of comedy some mystery presenting itself at the very end( damn u brad and yo cliffhangers)
Fred Sanders FTW i couldnt enter Grazeland Plantation idk if that was a glitch on my part of what, or if i was entering it wrong.
my adventure was cut short when i walked into a mountainous section or a cave i guess, and got ambushed by 3 scorps >.> they owned me ( and i didnt save) XDDD

Re: Crossing Dreams RPG
Thanks Dee! Sorry, I completely forgot to add the "transfer player" code to the plantation on the world map. Good catch. I appreciate you letting me know. It'll be fixed in time for the next release.
Re: Crossing Dreams RPG
I know it's a demo and all, but I think it's really hard to earn Gpz and exp. It took me forever to get up enough to buy Yuuki her Katana and she couldn't even use it! And those damn skeletons in the Shihana graveyard were hard to beat. I almost died.... and ran away from the battle.... >.> But anyways, Yuuki is adorable. I want to hug her! <3
Re: Crossing Dreams RPG
I discussed with Devon about ideas for jobs that I had. You'll find a few around the towns. Like the hospital in Shihana and the Hunter's Lodge in Rufturf. They aren't functional yet, but eventually, they'll all have a way to make money from them in their own unique way, be it selling useless items to them, or playing minigames for gpz.
Example: Shihana Hospital: Old people are getting rowdy and trying to escape their room upstairs. Your job is to catch up with them and get them back to their beds. Kinda mean, I know, but that's just an example of one way.
As for the exp thing, it's still in the demo stages, but if I remember, there's a group of bandits in the first area of the forrest area that you can grind on for levels in the beginning. The Player generally wouldn't make it to the graveyard area until they were higher level anyways. I just put the village in for play-testing purposes.
Also, yes I know about the third "bandit" in the forrest area that for some reason ends up being Kim from the tournament, and yes, he's been taken care of.
Thanks for the feed-back guys, I appreciate it/am fixing the little quirks here and there. Keep up the good work my oh so usefull band of sweat-monkeys. Free Friends > Cheap Japanese Game-Testers

Don't know if anyone cares other than Julia and Devon, but here's the second release for the RPG Demo.

Just like the previous version you need to download the RTP from the RPGVX website in order to play (if you haven't already).
I added in Grazeland Plantation and Everpece Harbor as accessible towns aswell as Griever's Trail as a dungeon map (located west of Rufturf). All maps should have music added to them, however, there may be some exceptions. If there are, please tell me. I understand that I probably missed Grazeland Plantation when I was adding music, so it's BGM will probably match the world map.
I also fixed Shihana Village, so you shouldn't be teleported back to Rufturf for now apparent reason anymore. And yes, I fixed Yuuki's katana incompatability issue, so she'll be useful to you now.
Anyways, that's about all there is to this update. I hope you all enjoy it.
I'll release a newer version some time in the future.
